Default Gradimitated and landed a job. (Auto related)

I figured some of you guys that frequent this forum would be interested to hear I landed a job as a Materials Research Engineer with Honda R&D of America. I will be working at Honda's big R&D center near Columbus, Ohio. My job specifically is related to ferrous and light metals research and development for Honda's U.S. made products (Acura TSX, MDX, Honda Pilot, Ridgeline, Civic Si, etc. etc.).

So, fortunately I landed a bad *** job (at least for me) but unfortunately I will no longer be around the central Iowa/Ames area. I still hope to make it to MCCI@MAM (mustang club track day at mid-america) later in July but I'll have to wait and see if that is feasible.

I hope they let me in the gate on my first day when I show up in a turbo Miata...

Are you working in Belfountain Ohio? I have an old roommate from college that works there or use to. I was thinking about working for Honda too then decided to move home to MA. My roommate use to have lots of stories about testing new Honda Vehicles. I have a few pictures of us helping him move to his new place in a Honda Ridgeline back in 2004 before they even came out.

Sick man!

I have looked into going there after I get my ME degree, but we will have to wait and see.

My major was Materials Science and Engineering or just "Materials Engineering".

The R&D center is near Belfontaine, technically I think the address is Raymond or Marysville, Ohio.

A guy from the FSAE team here landed a gig at Honda R&D after graduation this year. I think he starts next month, or has already started.

Pretty cool place to work, I would think.
