Gran Turismo meets GRID
So, if any of you remember I previously reviewed Gran Turismo Prologue as complete garbage. Apparently ALL my points were covered here in a lovely video. Previous thread is found here:

While that video does point out the huge flaws still present after 5 iterations of Gran Turismo games, have you played Grid yet?
I played the demo of it the other day on the 360, and, while the graphics and sound are top-notch (gorgeous visuals, details and excellent car damage), the physics model is kinda shitty. Well, more specifically, the friction modelling seems to be incredibly unrealistic. The cars feel like they have incredibly grippy tires up to a point, then they just violently lose grip/control.

Grand turismo 4... 2004.
Grand turismo 5.. was supposed to be released in 06, however they released GT HD on the PSN instead. Two years later (2008), out comes GTPrologue, which has the same shitty physics engine as GT HD, just with more tracks and cars. These guys develop at remarkable speeds.
Pretty pathetic.
Yeah, give Grid a shot if you get a chance, but to me, it feels like one of those arcade-y WRC Rally games.
