I'm glad I got mine already. Locally $1,200 is the going rate, but there were only 2.

that **** is ******* gay. Miata prices are starting to get stupid for everything. I just bought a car yesterday. At first I thought people were dilusional, then I realized that people are willing to pay these prices for miatas because there is someone stupid enough, who wants one bad enough, to pay 50% over kbb for a car.

I need to get a hardtop btw. This is going to hurt. I paid $1600 for my 1991 with a hard-top, and just paid $1400 for a 95 without. ITs going to be a bitch to find one at a reasonable price.

I think a part of it may be people going retarded over gas prices. When I see 04 GTOs listed for 10K and 05 stage 2 LGTs for 12K I get really tempted.

mpg was a contributing factor in my recent miata purchase. My broken outback only gets 20mpg at best.

I can understand the price of the OEM marina green top. Hell if I didnt have mine, which is a BRG top, I would buy that marina top in a second. I paid 850 for my top, it would cost me another 300 to repaint it to match my car. For the same money I can have an OEM top with the headliner and defroster. Makes sense to me.
