Default 600 hp Elise vs. sportbikes

At 5:40 the vid zooms into the forward view, with the datalogger showing. The "throttle" BTW is the accelerometer output, not TPS.

That's pretty mental...it brings me back to my sportbike days. I think ever Saturday that was nice out in 2002/03 was spent riding in that exact fashion.

It's not fun 'till the front lifts while leaned coming out of corners. Think leaned wheelies. I miss being able to ride like I want to. Of course I thought I was a decent rider until I moved to Italy. Those F---ers are crazy!

f crotch rockets altogether. I sold my TT600 because its just way too fast to resist doing stupid things on, and its only a 600. I can just imagine how crazy the new liter bikes are. insane

(I love them, but hate them but love them....makes perfect sense)

I love my SV1000. V twin win. Just needs a Gsxr suspension swap and it would be terrifying fast. But, Americans scare the living s--- out of me and I can't ride here like I did overseas. I got spoiled there. Might trade the SV for a BMW K1300s. More fun 2 up and just to injured to ride hunched over for a long time anymore. My family would dis-own me if I went cruiser and I'd get bored, fall asleep at the bars, and die.

Are the any filters for the track cams that can keep the image from bleaching out in the sun. Polarized, etc?

I miss my Sv1k.

I wish he would use 4th instead of letting off at redline everytime, which is just annoying.

WTF is going on with his hand position on that "steering-square"?

Dude on that bike behind him knows what the hell he's doing on that road. No way in hell I would ride that road that hard, even without traffic. The surface of that road looks total ----, but that riders only saving grace is that he is on track rubber. The rear end came out on him half a dozen times, road rubber isn't forgiving like that.

Last time I was out in Socal I was on that road and a few near it... In a my GF's moms durango. I pushed it a little bit too hard and managed to get the driveshaft to bind up!!!

We actually hung out at that beach right off of the PCH at the begining of that video:

Yup, that is the main coast-side entrance to the Mulholland network. When I lived in Pt Mugu, I'd ride there a few times a week. From that entrance, it's about 20 minutes to The RockStore. I miss my Aprilia.

This is a private military road that leads up to the missile tracking station above Mugu rock at the base. I had that Falco very nicely set up... put over 20k miles on it in 3 years.

I really like that bike a lot. I used to have a 1997 Ducati 916, and that bike of your reminds me of it. It's a 90 degree L twin, right?
