OK, we took the four cars to the dyno and this is what we saw:
#1 - 187
#2 - boost pressure was too low to get a good (high) HP so I am calling it 195
#3 - 100 MPH cut-off - only got a reading of 285
#4 - 352 (My car - I was pretty ecstatic over this)
My guesses were:
200
210
310
370
I'll let you guys figure out who the "winner" was. Over here it was Frank. He owns car #4 and guessed
180
197
375
350
The guy quoted $50 each for 3 pulls with WBO2 (which is VERY reasonable in the Charleston, SC are) and ended up only charging us $120 total for the pulls since we didn't do three pulls on each car. #3 and #4 only pulled 1 time each because there was no real reason for going any further.
Also, my A/F was pretty lean. I'll post a dyno trend later but it seems like me that would probably lead to a better peak HP but I am not an expert on this.

Yeah, I was pretty happy with my numbers. I can't see why anyone would ever want more power than that in a Miata (unless you are racing or something). This thing is a terror on the road.
The number I gave earlier (352 HP) must have been uncorrected. The shop was a little funky but I can't argue on the price. I'll have to take the MSM over there again as soon as I sort out the boost controller issue.

I'm not exactly sure how to compare a V8 dyno with a I4 dyno because the RPM pulses don't match up on the graphs (I'll have to look at the software a bit to figure out how to do this) but here is a MSM run with the V8 with MPH as an axis:
Oh, that blip was the boost cutoff. We dropped the boost pressure down one click and did another run. Of course, we didn't get a recording of that run. I don't think those guys in the shop knew how to use the dyno software. A few of our runs came up blank or with negative numbers.
