Just measured my truck. 19 feet long. Won't work :/

Not the HF ones, but I put a "garage in a box" (10' x 10') over the hot tub. Stayed outside and held up to Western NY snow for 2+ years. Cost me about $175 shipped. I would stick with Shelter Logic, as I think they will hold up better. HF tarps disintegrate within 2 years if left outside.

a friend used one to paint his airplane in. the one to get is this: 10 ft. x 17 ft. Portable Garage.
the tubes are bigger 1.34" as opposed to 1.27 for the other two. when i got mine they only charged me 6.99 shipping, even though now the website says overweight charges might apply.i think the fabric would stand up to ultraviolet for 4 or 5 years anyway. |

So I'm looking for a jack that I can fit into the fourth drawer of this tool cart: Stanley 27 in. W 5-Drawer Tool Cabinet, Blue H5TRSBL at The Home Depot - Mobile
Anypony know if either the HF 2 ton trolley jack or the 1.5 ton aluminum compact racing jack are worth a shit? 2 ton Compact Trolley Jack 1.5 Ton Compact Aluminum Racing Floor Jack with Rapid Pump® The former has the advantage that the handle will fit into the drawer, and at stock ride height it should fit under the pinch weld (gotta measure that tomorrow morning.) |

I'm wondering if I'll be able to jack up one side, drop a jack stand under the knuckle, and then jack up the other side. Will probably have to use the scissors jack to test that before I buy, as I'm assuming that no compact jack will reach all the way to the diff / front subframe.

It doesn't reach but you can slide it under the cross members and still reach the jack handle by laying on the ground. |
Big fan of the 1.5t racing jack. It goes to every track day with me, and is my secondary jack at home.
Just chop up the handle if it doesn't fit. |
I have the 1.5 model as well.
I'm pretty sure they all have a two-piece handle. I can measure the pieces in the morning. I was able to reach the cross member if I pushed it under the car with the handle down. |

I think costco had one earlier this year that was 20 or 21ft. My local stores are out.

OK I'll take a look. I can always hang the front of the truck out, but if I can close it completely that would be preferable

Link?

Joe, all the aluminum jacks should have a removable handle that separates into two pieces. The top half of the handle often fits a craftsman 1/2 ratchet handle to make a perfect 2 foot cheater bar.

My HF 1.5 ton is my go to for everything. Has outlasted two crapsman (read much more expensive). My pinch weld hits the highest point on the jack. I have to park it on a 2x10 if i plan on reaching passed that point.
Anyone using their pressure washers? Columbus day sale extension has the 2500 psi on sale for two fidy. Other than no replacement parts available, reviews seem pretty consistent. |

I do not like the jack with the single long wheel at the front. It's wobbly as hell.

Doesn't look to bad. Has walls if I want to add those later. Also looks easily repairable. |
The two jack pieces are just a hair under 19 3/4"
