Total win. Hardened steel. Withstood 147 blows from my ball peen hammer. I used this to loosen the rear O2 sensor on my '97 (on top of exhaust pipe) The ear for the socket wrench is perfect for the hammer. 212xxx miles and 20 years- wrench ain't going to get it. For what it's worth, This sensor is perfect right down to the grommet: Parts Geek 8543-05205416

This is one of the best HF tool purchases I have made in a while. I put a course sait belt on this and it's great for cleaning up welds on square tube and working notches. At $33 i don't see any room for improvement. It doesn't vibrate like their angle grinders, belt changes are quick, belt tracking is adjustable, and it has enough power for my needs.

My air compressor is a wimp and won't run an air powered die grinder for long enough to be useful, so I bought the above to port my flat top for a Junk2 throttle body. Worked great, and uses standard 1/4" cutting bits and sanding drums.

Caveat: I did not buy the cutting bits from HF... got some carbide bits off Amazon.

I have one of these and it works great. Been going strong for 3-4 years now.

To be honest, even though I had collected quite a stack of receipts, I never submitted anything. In the end, it just seemed wrong. I never once felt like I got ripped off by them; had no illusions about what the "real" prices were and/or should have been. Instead, I always knew pretty much exactly what to expect and usually came away pleasantly surprised at the value I ended up getting from their goods. They never hurt me, so I couldn't see why I should take from them. :dunno:

This. I could of probably gotten a few hundred back, but I had better things to do with my time then go through all my receipts. I think I get my money's worth out of my HF tools 98% of the time.

If only more people took that approach (not so much referring to this particular situation but business transactions in general).

Have the fake pelican cases been discussed yet? I have the medium and large and so far they are a win. The large is on sale for 29.99 right now.

I'm sure nobody cares, but the first air hammer was a dud. There are two models, and the first one was the more expensive one. The replacement was the less expensive one, and it works like a champ.

I needed a little of the hose to bench bleed a master cylinder yesterday, and just went and bought a new bleeder and sacrificed my old bleeder hose since mine was ~5 years old anyway, and I needed it right then. The hose is perfect for bleeding brakes, but I can't find what it's made of to buy more.

I'm pretty sure it's just LLDPE.

even vinyl hose works fine for a bleeder if you have that rubber cap. If you dont have the cap you need a different diameter vinyl tube for all the sizes of your bleeder nipples since it doesnt have stretch. Maybe someday I'll remember on a mcmaster order to order the correct size of clear silicone so I dont have to use 3 different sizes of vinyl tube to bleed the racecar.

Real pelican cases have little square cubes for foam you can break apart to form fit whatever you need. I'm not positive these have this option. It would be awesome if they do though.

They do, but they are the full depth of the case.
It would be better if there were a few layers about an inch deep or so, but you can easily cut them to whatever size you need.
