wow. that's a pretty cruel way to part with a car. stolen i can understand... but BURNT? WTF MAN? crazy brits.

 

When the car was burnt I found it very difficult to come to terms with and was hell bent on revenge.

I actually know who the ***** are as they are from a local car club which makes it very hard not to react. At some shows this year they started acted up telling me I dont belong at the shows... and threatended me....blah blah blah! I guess they were pissed that I was getting all the magazine coverage and winning shows whereas their cars were not even get a second look. I did not think they would go this far......but for me to do the same to them would make me like them...and that I AM NOT!

However, I strongly believe in what goes around comes around.

For a short while in discussions with the insurance was gonna rebuild the car as I had plans to repaint the car for a different look and was in talks with a BEGI turbo dealer in the UK to get a stage 3 turbo kit to make her fly for this winter.

But after much deliberation decided to take the money and the car and part it out. The reason being, if I had fixed her whats the probability the ******* would come back and do the same again??? Also I was getting fed up and bored of the show scene having being a big player in it for 4 years.

It sounds pathetic but I feel a part of me has died with that car, the only gratification is I made a tidy sum which I never would have made had I sold the car.

Its nice to see some projects on here have come along way since I have been away. Brings a smile to my face.

With regards to a new project, that will be on a backburner for a bit. I am going to invest in property early next year and after I have secured this will look to another project. One thing is for sure is that it will be RWD and boosted. My roadster turbo gave me a taste of the dark side which i intend to pursue when the time is right.

 

Tabs am I ******* hearing this right? you know who did this and it's a group of people from a local car club!?!?

You have some truly epic roads to drive there. Sink the money in a used TVR and enjoy motoring at it's finest.

 

Thas right spike I Know who did this but cant prove it otherwise the cops would have nicked them.

The cops have closed the arson case on grounds of unlimited evidence.

The night it happended, i had in my head who was responsible. This was further confirmed by a neighbour who noticed suspicious behaviour and identified one of the suspects cars parked down my street and reported this to the police 40 mins before the incident happended. The suspects were bought in for questioning but never charged.

I personally wish they would die the most horrible death ever for what they have done.

I do not wish to name the car club as I do not wish to incite hatred.

Anyway, onwards and upwards.

 

Really sorry to hear that. Your car was one of the very few that looked good with a body kit. That car really was something special. Sorry about your loss.

The thing that pisses me off,is that a car club did this!

Geez I bet people are just standing in line to join this car club and be a part of these losers.

 

now build a track car that you don't care about. In 2 years my miata has been kicked, keyed, spray painted, tops slashed, cigarette holes burnt in the top, spit on...so the next paintjob will be krylon. Its a track car. People are too stupid to appreciate your property or even common decency.

Its funny you should say that.I have been thinking of a track car to abuse.

I have been thinking of a Pulsar GTIR, 4wd and easy 350hp with a few mods and 12 second 1/4's......look like dog **** though....!!!

 

Have a few of us over on vacation. Nothing like a tourist beating a local down.

 

I know that Tabs,but that says alot about the club for having members that do **** like that.

 

I would be down with that,provided Tabs shows us all the local hot spots where the hot looking "birds" hang out.
