So I have this cheap-*** laptop desk, and I purposely have it put together wrong to suit my needs. I have the feet spun around so that it will slide under my couch. Otherwise it doesnt come close enough to be usable. But because of this it wants to tip over forwards at the slightest touch. Not much of a problem, sans cats.
Im thinking about throwing these feet in the trash and bolting something different on the bottom. W/e is used Im planning on throwing some felt pads on so I dont scratch up the wooden floor at all, and I would like to keep the footprint about the same size.
The entire setup is front heavy, so w/e I do will need to extend forward a bit. And the foot needs to stay fairly thin so it will still fit under my couch.
Backwards feet.

Front heavy.

Notorious laptop tippers.

Why not just cut an inch or two off the back? It'll tip it back. Then take the plastic clips off the front and extend the feet if it keeps tipping.
Felt feet suck. Always come off.
