Hey guys, Im new to forums and working with cars, I have a 1999 Nb fully stock other than a mspnp2




Im having trouble getting the car to start, it initially didnt then i tuned it to turn over, then to rough idle, then to good idle, but it no longer starts again.

With a bit of trouble shooting with the test mode on the ms, i found out that all the spark plugs and leads are good, although only coil A fires off normally, coil B only when all the other spark plugs are all plugged in, C dosent do anything, and when i test coil d, my left radiator fan turns on.

Im not sure if the issue is the pack or the previous owners wire harness but im really stuck.

if theres anything else you can think of looking into with the idle issue too, id really appreciate it.

You only have 2 coils. Each coil fires spark plugs on 2 cylinders. You should only be using the A and B coil outputs

If you use test mode to test coil A and coil B outputs and each one fires 2 spark plugs then it's all working the way it should.

 

What do the plugs look like if you pull them out? Post a picture of that.
