Hey Guys, How's the digging coming?

We have given the Iraqi Army a **** load of our vehicles. But those where our M1114 the one on the right has "Warlock" and we have not given that up yet. Our troops would be sitting inside those nice armored vehicles, waiting for EOD to show up and blow it in place. Instead, they got to watch the idiots out the window kill them self’s. As for a reason the Iraqi personnel where removing the round, maybe they where going to reset it in a more productive place that night.
EOD is some of the most over worked people in iraq, its such a small career feild that they can't be everywhere. (Did anyone watch the video all the way through though? The genius's survived.)

My guess is, none of the people with in 30 foot of that explosion lived. traffic over the radio is undoubtedly wrong. Ever hear of the "fog of war'? you just watched it first hand.
This is what a 155 round did to a armored M1114 from 20 foot. the only thing that saved those HMMWV is the fact that the round was below grade, which directed the blast force upward, unfortunately that was not very conducive to life for the people standing over top of it.

I have seen stranger things happen. The sensor operators were confused too. Ive been in an 87K unarmored Humvee before that was hit by a 107. I know what they can do. I have the scars on my leg to prove it.
I have also seen someone step on an anti-pers mine, and only lost a toe.

PS - Glad to see you came to the same conclusion!
While I am amazed at some of your stories... I don't know if they compare with the guy who was transported to the hospital with a LIVE RPG still in him and had it surgically removed (and lived!!!)

There was also a C130 that flew 105 Miles with a stinger that didn't go off stuck feet away from our relieving team.
