video looks fake. watch the cans shoot into the box, watch the last two closely. And you cant see it launch. Watch the guy catch the can at the end, he's not even looking, but know exactly where the can is and how much to back his hand back to ease it in? im not buying it...although im sure you could do it, and the robot itself probably does everything but launch the can.

 

You're on crack. It would probably take more effort to fake the video than to build the launcher. I imagine it took many takes to get the footage you see, but I doubt it is fake.

 

i dunno.... look closely at the last two "target" shots. and why dont you see everything on those shots....\

I did and I still don't see a problem. The thing is accurate, but what you don't see is the time it took to setup that shot. It's a robot, it should be consistant.

It looks like there is a tear in the box, that and a camera with a really shitty frame rate makes it look a little odd.

 

i have no doubt that the video is cut where they are doin rapid fire into the box... but i do think that the machine is capable of accuratly launching a beer in the same place over and over

im a big skeptic, especially of things on the internet. i was watching it, and noticed it looked odd when the cans hit the box, but when i look at the last two shots, it doesn't look right at all, then im thinking why cant you see the thing shoot, i mean that's the whole point. then i see the guy catch the can and im like come on. all in all it looks like the robot itself is pretty damn sweet, im just thinking it may not be able to fire. i dunno.


and yeah, it does look more like a rip in the box. still something seems odd to me. thats all.

Lol, i like when the guy catches it without looking. I would laugh if it hit him in the face, or worse he misses the catch and it goes through the window behind him.

the 10 shots in a row were cuts to show the accuracy, it hits the box near the same place but never in the same exact spot if you watch.

I totally believe it.

But it would be way cooler if it launched Guiness.... BRILLIANT!

 

waste of time and talent. Just move the fridge next the couch, cheaper and faster. Plus how good is 10 beers?
