After a 9 mile hike, and decided I needed some sushi.
40 dollars later, I ended up eating a half a carton of cookies and 2 glasses of milk when I got home.
I should have hit Wendy's instead of the sushi. It would have been 32 dollars cheaper, and probably healthier after factoring in the cookie fiasco.

Dinner last night. Duck consommé, foie gras, caramalized sea scallops with asparagus and some kind of little pearl pasta with shredded sun-dried tomatoes, and a cream cake soaked in amaretto.

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of lunch. Hell, even in the crew's mess they're dishing up some remarkably good chow. Today was lamb curry over rice, grilled vegetables, and a sort of creamy pasta thing. Not nearly as fancy on the presentation, but filling and yummy.
There's a restaurant in Chicago that is supposed to be exceptional. No menu, you sit in the kitchen, and the chef brings you food. Unfortunately it is about $800 for two people with wine. I'm going to make this a vacation.
I have an Italy trip this year. (first time to Europe, yay) I could care less about museums. I want an insane food experience.

It was one of my boyfriend's relatives that had it. I had a bite of it. Haha
