How did everyone find their cars? My gf wants a MX-3 and they're scarce on autotrader and in the newspaper. What other sources does everyone use to find used cars?

 

craigslist.ebay.for you mx3 forums.

 

I drove by... she looked at me.... we went home together.

 

My first one was found through a for sale posting on the mx6.com boards.
My second was from a friend who wanted it out of her driveway.

I have been looking for another MX3 for a while, they don't come up very often on the i-net it seems...Or they are either white or TEAL...

The one I have now I found on craigslist, they were asking $1200.00 I picked it up for $300.00...

I would like to find a V6 as well, or I have been debating just dropping a BP 1.8 in it (there is a donor escort for $400.00 right around the corner or course all this is subject to change (I have everything to turbo it--but lost interest).

 

well, maybe not, but i have connections. what kind of mx3 are you looking for? stock? slightly modded? also, a price range would help. finally, are you willing to travel/have the car shipped?

 

Looking for a good condition V6(GS) for $3000 or less. Something without rust and no major mechanical issues. Modifications aren't an issue unless they affect drivability since it'll be my gf's car. Probably not interested in shipping, preferably located near Milwaukee, although I'm at school about an hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

I've found a couple already via craigslist and have inquired on both.

 

Haha I know what you mean. I found a seemingly nice black '92 for 2500obo, but the owner seems a bit ignorant. He calls it an mx6 once and refers to it as a 2.5 once (doubt it's had an engine swap, looks stock)
