We have had exactly two days out of the last 25 that were above freezing for a high. The last two were -30 windchill, -4 actual temp. It sucks.

That said, I need to update my worklog. Been in the shop every night since Friday. I keep that around 70. (Essentially) free wood heat FTW.

This is stupid. Last night it got to 16 degrees in Tucson and most of the water lines around town froze and burst this morning..... Fail much?

I had to blast the edges of my truck's door with a heat gun for 20 minutes before I could even open it. There's still a solid coating of ice on all the non-major roads up here..

it was probably renamed "climate change" because people dont understand that single events (snow storms) dont have that big an impact on average global temperature.

similarly, people who go out and proclaim global warming is the cause of hot days in summer are just as mistaken.

It's not bad here at all, but I'm still told to not come in to work tonight, so ROCK!!! Low tonight is only in the upper 20's, and we can expect a half inch of snow by tomorrow, with more chances through Saturday.

Lulz when the rest of America gets snowed on. Of course, now that I'm in FL and not in WI, I don't miss it one ******* bit. No time soon will I go out to start the miata and find it covered in 2" of ice. Last winter I spent in WI we had a couple weeks where it was -20Fish in the morning and barely broke 5F during the day. I left about 10 sq in of airflow in the mouth of the miata so it'd stay warm on the highway. Cardboard ftw.

We were supposed to have 1-2" of snow south and east of DFW... well, somebody needs to explain the 5 inches of fresh powder in my yard. And there's more coming.

~-10F today, 3-4' of rock hard snow on my lawn and the plow leaves 4' of snow to the curb. My snow blower was choking on the ice chunks while clearing some road parking.

All in all though not bad the last major snow my 5'6" aunt in London, ON was shorter than the snow on her lawn that fell in 2 days. There was a total of 7' there after 3 days, the sissies shut things down for a day.
