What the hell? Did something break?

Seems weird that he all of a sudden couldn't follow.

my car broke down once about 2-3 miles from my house and there was noooo way i was paying 30+ get to get it towed. so we tried the rope and a jeep thing. its very hard but if you do it right and you have good communication with the tow car it can be done. no power brakes is the part that makes it tricky but thats pretty much it... oh and i guess no turning the key. holy crap how cuold you forget that!

Back in high school, my dad's MGs would break down all the time, and we'd drag him back just like that. It's not tough, honestly.

I did that once. I was getting a ride-along in a VG-powered Datsun 510 (if any of you get GRM, it's the orange car w/ the Pathfinder V6 at the back of this month's issue, featured in next month's issue) and the owner broke a u-joint in the halfshaft about a half mile from home. We got a ride back to his house, picked up his truck, went back to the car, unhooked the halfshaft, and I drove his truck home while he drove the Datsun behind. It was a 20mph endeavor, but we got it home safe and sound.

He had the key in the ignition, though.

He's lucky the cable came off when he hit the pole. Or it would have been funnier.

I can understand people having lapses in judgment. However, what I don't understand is why you would post your lapses in judgment for the entire planet to see?

After all, how many of us can honestly say they've never done anything retarded? Ok, maybe not THAT retarded, but...
