Re: You have received a reminder from MX-5 Miata Forum

I suggest you go through the entire thread and give out warnings to all the members that have posted in that thread since March 2006.

We are all friends, it wasn't a personal attack on anyone, it was a joke. But thanks for the time to continuously monitoring the thread (while never posting in 4 years) for any evildoing and taking my comment out of context and dishing out a warning. I've really learned my lesson!!!!!

But just to make sure I'm not being singled out, I expect to see a warning handed out for the following posts:

http://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost.p...postcount=4805

"So you guys need to stop granny shifting and start double clutching. "

I find this highly offensive, yet his post still remains and he's off plaguing your site with evil.

http://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost.p...postcount=4707

"You guys are crazy!"

Obviously I'm not crazy, and obviously she deserves a warning for a personal attack.

http://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost.p...postcount=4505

"something tells me honking at the ladiez is not why you posess those items. "

This was a personal attack against me, suggesting that I'm homosexual.

http://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost.p...postcount=4507

"He does have the micheal jackson sticker on the back of his car."

Again, directed me me personally, there is a cogitation that because I have a MJ sticker on the back of my car I'm homosexual.

I'll continue to point out infractions as I see them, I know we can only do so much as one person.

Went to pickup a throttle body for my manifold at this local Honda shop and they were in the middle of tuning this Civic.

Don't ask for details cause I don't know.

Buying a Scorpion EX0 1000 helmet in a few days. Baller. Internal retractable smoke visor, air fit (air pump) in the cheeks, kevlar reinforced shell.

I can't pick a color. Will you help?

My bike is silver, but I plan on upgrading bikes next year. My gear is mostly black. I like the white best I think, but a friend and long time rider says it'll need cleaned after every outting. I'm just unsure about the matte finishes. Also, you'd think white helment would stay cooler? With the vents I'm not sure that even matters.

Not my bike, but same color.

Yeah, but I sorta like the design.

Plus I'm thinking long term, the primer is probably gray or white under the paint, so if I ever get chips in it, white or silver would probably look better 3 or 4 years from now.

I'd like this one better, as the design is neat. For whatever reason, there are none on ebay in the price I'm finding the others. These go for $300+

I'm also looking at this:
but it's their EXO 400 helmet which doesn't have all the goodies... considering buying a used one for cheap as a spare/passenger helmet.

Does the matte finish get scarred easily? I mean, cleaning bugs off of it, do they leave little dark spots behind?

I just found that helmet for $90 on kneedraggers.com, helluva price. Might be a good option for a spare helmet if this Scorpion 400 falls through.

I'm just thinking, for another $100 with Scorpion I get the benefit of the internal smoke sunvisor (which is really cool and removes the need to wear my sunglasses), their "air fit" so that if the cheek pads get loose or worn I can just pump them up, and the kevlar reinforced shell. All good things.

I've had it for ~9 months doesnt have any flaws in the paint yet,
all the padding is removable and forms to your face after wearing it long enough.
you can get a mirrored visor for 25 bucks on ebay, That's what mine has, I havent used sunglasses yet

Looks nice. From the looks of it, yours has more of a viewing area than the Scorpion models do.. I hadn't considered that.

Eh don't spend more than $80 on a bike helmet, Safety is irrelevant, just don't crash.
