while I'll agree that a lot of "Greeks" are immature, being part of that system certainly gives you the opportunity to grow more as a person and really prepare you for the real world -- unlike a majority of unaffiliated people who just sit around and do nothing but play warcraft.

My Miata made me very depressed today. I always thought it was in decent shape, but after pulling the interior panels, carpet and roll bars today, to sell the bars to a co-worker... I'm not pleased. Apparently the top has been leaking without my knowledge and the parcel shelf area and fuel pump cover are all rusted to ****. The ecu is even corroded a bit. Minor surface rust on a lot of the other interior panels. This leaves me with only one choice, which was already an option I was toying with. Gut the interior, make it rust free and truck bed liner it. Pick up some rust free covers for the fuel pump, mount the computer in the glove box (will be getting MSPnP soon anyway). Will be getting the ABS for the door panels this paycheck, and will probably start looking around for suitable seats to replace the stockers. Make it a little more track worthy but still semi decent for street driving.

I hope the Boss Frog single loop uses the same mount locations as the double, so I can use the same holes. I'd hate to have to drill all of those new holes so close to existing holes. Would make for a swiss cheese car.

Still, I do this all for free, in hopes that the day will come where this will all pay off.

Anybody ever get bored enough to find rhyming words and try to make a story out of them, until you run out of words? Me and my best friend used to do that any time we were in a car going somewhere. Actually pretty fun and funny. May just be a twisted sense of humor, not sure. Sometimes it almost comes out like some really shitty rap battle. Example I came up with in the shower just now...

My woman said she would kill me if I ever cheat. I said look woman, take a seat. Your *** is gonna get beat with a soccer cleat if you don't walk up the street on your feet to the store and pick me up some sandwich meat. Put on some bug spray with a high percentage of deet, and when you make my sandwich, keep it neat. Don't burn the bread with too much heat, or you'll find yourself in a morgue covered with a sheet. Move along now, I'm hungry and ready to eat. On second thought, I'll send my buddy Pete.

DAYUM!!!

Yes sir! Soon as I get a free minute to work on it again I'll update the site with some example drawings.

So is anyone here from Spain? I need to find out once and for all what the **** is gong on with this guy in Barcelona before I ship these vases to him.

I got the $1049.99 payment from him, but I fear that once the vases leave here they will magically disappear.

Both eBay and PayPal told me the address on the label needs to match the PayPal address EXACTLY. Well the guy just emailed me the label this morning and it doesn't. I'd like to call him on the phone but its $1.65 a min and I have no idea if he speaks english.

I have a feeling he's trying to scam me somehow, even though he already sent the money. At this point I already have 2.5hrs into this so I'm starting to lose my patience with the guy.

My fuel pump access cover and such were corroded the same way. My top was either installed poorly and/or the rain rail was junk. I took all of the felt out of the car that I could find because it all holds moisture. Then I took the panels off and used a wire wheel on them. Then I primed and painted them silver/gray. Then I put a NB style Robbins rain rail on and it is dry as a bone. It doesn't smell like mold and mildew anymore. I didn't know it was leaking under there either.

Easy answer: Don't ship and refund if he won't give you a shipping label that matches them EXACTLY.

I plan to do the same, but I'm coating it all with POR 15 and truck bed liner. Might put the carpet back in on top just without any padding. Most likely will stay without carpet.

The shipping label turned out to be legit, so I finished boxing them up and dropped them off at UPS. Emailed the guy these photos, updated the tracking info and pulled the money from my PayPal account.

I was quoted $1100 to ship this same box through UPS. He said it was costing him $350. No idea how, but the label worked when I dropped it off.

Thanks man! I love it when it works. Today I had to drive it in the pouring *** rain, roads half flooded, but I was still loving it. Although my headlight wires are melting and I have no idea why. Just another "to do" to add to the never ending list. lol
