Another weird car I want to buy.

1990 honda civic ef wagon 4dr

It just struck me. Those tall EF wagons were basically like the Fit but 10 years too soon, right?

You thought there would be no repurcussions?

"Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible ----..."

So, this is as bad as any car I have ever owned has been. These are the plugs and wires I put on when I did my engine rebuild 5 years ago. Typically I'd never let either of those go that long, but I guess I've had other priorities, and have just been driving it. I can tell they were old...

Is it just me or are those center electrodes melted?

So much corrosion on the coil side, I had to twist this one off with a big pair of pliers. The bores of the coil were full of about 1/4" of blue corrosion. Blew it out and let some WD40 eat away at the rest of it. Dried it off, and it was fine

Then I nearly had a heart attack when I started it and it was having massive backfires and wouldn't run without throttle. I thought I had fucked the coil pack, which I can't afford to replace right now. Come to find out, somehow I managed to get the wires backwards, even though I did them one at a time. I think I may have been running two of the wires reversed previously, for the last 5 years. I think it will run with the matching cylinders reversed. Runs much better now though. I can tell I gained back a lot of power, and I"m sure my fuel economy will go way up. It was very low, probably under 20 thanks to the plugs/wires, and also my lack of checking tire pressure, and they were all down to 20psi.

Dizzy bitch drove into the back of me today just after i picked up my kid from daycare. No damage to her highlander but fucked my rear bumper. I have to wait a week for the police report to get her insurance info. She wouldn't give it up to me, just the officer.

This was just after I watched her almost back into another woman in the parking lot. I actually stopped & turned around to stay clear of these soccer moms but she still got me.

Bitch was pissed at me for making her even more late for parent / teacher night. Fuckyou bitch.

I've been working at this school for a little over 4 years now, today is the first day they said the pledge, together, over the intercom... That went away when i was in like 7th grade or so. Weird to have it back.

Yes, but the the tips of the electrodes have smaller little pieces sticking off, not the normal .6mm wire that is normally there. They aren't as uniform as they are supposed to be. I guess it could be build up, instead of material taken down. These plugs have ~75k miles on them. Still, held up well for plugs this old.

I like the pledge, but as an agnostic pre-teen I was always a little conflicted. So, I simply decided to skip the part that I was not comfortable with rather than make a big fuss or refuse to participate all together.

"One nation... indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Little did I know at the time that I was actually reciting it more closely to the original.

No idea. But I'm pretty certain they didn't go back on the way they came off.

A co-worker has been bragging about his plans to make 1000awhp on his Subaru Legacy Spec-B. He plans to have it done by this time next year.

Today, he asked me the difference between a waste-gate, and a blow-off valve.
