How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
My father-in-law is dying. Bowel cancer, which he almost beat, but after fighting for 8+ years, it has finally gotten the upper hand. They've given him less than 6 weeks, max.
Damn man, sorry to hear. I was about to post an "oh poor me" my rear main seal is leaking post, but damn.
I've been waiting for that call myself off and on for the last few years. Both of my wife's parents have had various battles with Cancer over the last few years, but have managed to pull through although the frequency has increased and the latest news was that it had spread to the hip bone. MIL was a Hiroshima survivor, FIL was a Nagasaki survivor and they're still kicking around though, and both approaching 80 so they've survived quite a bit.
I hope the best for you and your family.
Also, my rear main seal is leaking.

Are the book-burnings in your town typically held monthly, or just once per semester?

So it's the position of your school board that women who have experienced the trauma of sexual assault should be prohibited from accessing information concerning treatment, victim-advocacy, and other related resources.

Thats why i said it was actually kind of shocking.

It just hits on keywords, it's a pretty simple system.
I was trying to look up some type of fitting for work a year back or so but the name of the fitting was being filtered. It made it really difficult to order the part. I forgot what exactly it was. lol

I sent my doctor a link to an article about Pfizer trying to sell Lipitor over the counter. His hospital's web filter blocked it, so I tried sending a note about it with the link removed and "OTC Lipitor" in the text. That was blocked, so I sent it with "OTC L-word" instead of Lipitor and it went through.
Apparently, his bosses don't want him discussing drugs with his patients via e-mail.
