I think they should be able to press charges on passengers in this kind of situation. Make people think twice about who they hang out with, consider their influence on the situation, and create more stigma for the behavior among their friends since they apparently really don't care about how their actions affect others.

Not guilty of the same crime obviously...but do you really think he played no role in the situation?

Is that the new Stratos?

That was such and awesome car back in the day....my favorite HotWheels was the rally version in Alitalia livery.

I'll save you the time of wading through Jalopnik's incredible automotive journalism and just sum up their report:

Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't.

They were both underage as well. Scumbags. St. Pete is full of them.

And with regard to the mass drowning story, what is it with black people and not learning how to swim? I mean, disproportionately high numbers of them don't for some reason and I wonder why?

And whether I knew how to swim or not I wouldn't let my child drown without jumping in the f-ing water and risk drowning to save them. But then again, I actually would love and care for the well being of my children. Some people are able to replace children much more readily than others, I suppose. If a new one falls from your womb to the floor every nine months, I guess they don't individually matter as much.

I don't think that's the cause of lack of care.

My "family"(aunt and uncle that raised me) is a ten kid household, and they were very emotionally torn up by a miscarriage. The home school group that they are a part of had a family of 7 lose their oldest, sadly due to drowning, and it was an emotional shock for the whole group. I'm sure had his mother been there she would have swam to the bottom of the olympic sized pool to save him.

I laugh at the super slammed look. Being in the rust belt, it was all too common years ago to see cars with the rear shackles rusted out and the thing sitting low like that.
