Anybody currently use, or have ever used an external tv tuner to view cable tv through your computer monitor? I just purchased a $50 unit that gets good reviews to use while I repair my TV. Capable of displaying 1080p (though since it is NTSC, you only get basic cable, and what is the point in routing **** through it when it has no HDMI or DVI...) but I will only use it for TV to my monitor via VGA and audio via 3.5 to RCA to my surround sound receiver. Use the monitor source button to go between digital (computer) to analog (TV). Plus I plan to get a second monitor setup soon, so I can devote it to full time gaming and TV use when not being used a second PC monitor. So even if my TV is repaired, this I think will still be a neat little thing to have for only $50, that is if it works. Watch two things at once!

Nah, but if I fail this class, I can kiss any sort of grad school goodbye. It's ******* Microeconomics with Rush (I'm sure you had him), the easiest class ever but I've dedicated ZERO time to it this semester and now I'm suffering. That and I did not realize the make-up exam I had to take was cumulative until about 10 minutes beforehand. Whatever, I've been kicking the **** out of these practice exams so I should be OK.

Whoa. Yeah, I'd completely forgotten about that class. I assume it's still being given principally by herding everyone into a huge room in Bryan Hall and watching a fuzzy video replay of the prof who only teaches the course live one session a day? Man, all I can think of now is the ******* Velocity of Money...

Semi-related note.. I get home Wed. for block leave. Planning on picking up a Kimber Ultra CDP II while I'm there, should be a pretty sweet gun. Still a small chance I might grab a Colt New Agent instead but I'm leaning more towards the Kimber. (.45 obviously)
