Lol same here, maybe even only 1 in college. Intro to math concepts or something silly like that. Basically Algebra I in high school, easy A.

yep, mine was a "practical" math course where we were expected to learn unheard of concepts like calculating gratuity and balancing a check book. Sadyl the class has been removed from the course catalog.

And since this is the ramble thread, I'd just like to say I love Iowa's state motto.

yeah, it was pretty good because it was more real world than learning how to calculate the velocity of a falling object or the speed needed to exit the earth's atmosphere or whatever shit happens in physics.

Send me a message on facebook, I'm tutoring a person in calc2 and another in calc3 right now. So it's all fresh on my mind.

Was there ever an argument about that.

Also go do the instructions I gave you in the Ubuntu TS thread.

I. FUCKING. HATE. EBAY. Now on another laptop I sold the buyer is claiming the CD/DVD drive and sound isn't working. I installed windows via the cd/dvd drive. Just before shipping. Also I was streaming music while updating and the audio works just fine. I mean wtf am I to do here. He files a PP claim and they pull it from my account, even though I shipped it in the condition described. It sold for $100.... seriously wtf. I'm thinking I'll just try and win the dispute, worse case I'm out $100. I don't care about my ebay feedback, I'm never using it to sell shit ever again.

Fight the claim is really all you can do. Either that or just outright ask him what he wants you to do about it. Maybe a partial refund would be the best/easiest solution.

I stay away from selling smaller used electronics. The smaller the dollar amount the sale, the more likely you are to have an issue with the buyer. Took me awhile to learn this, but its solid truth.

FRT_Fun 12-28-2011 10:11 PM

I mean for all I know the dude dropped it on accident 5 min after opening it and broke it. Figured well eff it I'll just say I got it this way. And now I'm screwed.

I think you are right, can't sell electronics, especially used ones.

I like how leave requests related to children are more important than someone requesting leave to "have fun". lol

My boss just let me know that even though today is his first day back in 1-month since he took December off, I can't take off Friday because he needs to go watch his daughter's basketball game. I hope there's a horrible accident in the bleachers at the basketball game.

PBY is personal business. I tell no one why I take my days.
