How will you spend your 12 hours of Miata?
So, it is now common knowledge that we have 12 hours, and then it is all over. So what are you going to do with your 12 hours?

That guy is diseased:
NICKYT: A properly maintained TR6 will **** all over a Miata. Sorry, I have had 2 of them and they are beasts. British straight six engines are amazing.
Actually the atom is not very reliable either.
My buddy does ALL the maint and work on a local rich guys (VIN:007, appeard on Jay Lenno's Garage
) Atom, and that thing is breaking all sorts of crap pretty frequently.
Clutch, wheel bearings, engine problems (it has the built "stage 3" sc ecotec) and its mainly just a street car, doesn't even do much track work.

here ya go

That guy can't be serious, there's no way he's being serious. I had to stop reading.

Topic dorifto a bit, but as much as I appreciate cars like the Ariel Atom, I kind of don't get the point.
If you have the money to buy an Atom just as track day toy, why wouldn't you go buy a Formula Vee or a Formula Ford or Spec Miata or ANYTHING that would allow for some real racing?
Cars like the Atom don't really do anything particularly well -- you can't drive it around town or to the restaurant to show it off, and it doesn't have a good racing class either. If you want to have fun on a track (and have that much money to burn), why aren't you buying a real race car instead of a pretend race car?
