I'm kinda surprised he didn't keep chasing them and kill them before calling anyone.

They took his boytoy's gold necklace, if they had touched his green miata I bet they would be dead.

Comments of the news
I know Lt Col Trenker and he's 48. He's spent 29 years in the Marine Corps. He's an incredible man, a hero, and a dang fine Marine to have served with. Sir, so glad you are going to be alright. Oohrah Sir!!

On a serious note, this is why I try to only meet Craigslist buyers in very open, high-traffic public places - preferably with video cameras.

What do you expect when your posting a gold chain for sale on CL?! Esp in FL.

I remember the one story about the family that was murdered after posting jewelry for sale on CL. The robbers (also black males) forced their way into the home, killing both the husband and wife (not sure if any kids involved) and robbed them.

I've met a handful of people off CL, but I always screen them via phone first. I've also been the buyer every time, which means I've had the cash on me and one time it was a couple thousand. The few items I've listed for sale on there have had nothing but losers respond to the ads and I never even wrote them back. eBay is my cash cow.
