Why? Because it's my job. I test the software that makes your DISH Network box work properly. So I sit around and make sure the remote works, all the programming, timers, themes, adult channels, PPV, all the a/v works well and whatnot. Not to mention that work has a supergayfilter on the network and since m-t is listed as an automotive website, i cannot view it . So if anyone was wondering where my shitalkingass has been... it's been work. But hey, at least I haven't abandon everyone like Hustler has.

It's not as fantastic as you'd think. Even with 9438576340986 channels, most of them suck all day anyway. But I do get to DVR a bunch of F1 and Adult Swim. But no, I do not get to watch **** all day, i have to have those kinds of channels authorized for specific tests :(

If you really wanted to, you could go to school like the rest of us without rich parents. There's two ways.
1. Work full time and pay for it yourself. Which usually takes longer, especially towards the end of your program where there are often scheduling conflicts between work and classes required for your program.
2. Take out loans and pay for it later. Just don't get a degree in C&J, or philosophy.

You watch TV all day? I listen to bitchy customers that only want to bitch about their phones. Who knew this society would become so dependent on cell phones? Makes sense, but I love the people that come in and HAVE to have a different phone that instant. I just smile and say, "That's not gonna happen." And if they persist, I am tempted to let them know that I would never put my job at risk to help their sorry ***.
Oh, and if your phone is almost a year old, YOU DON'T GET A ******* NEW REPLACEMENT PHONE. Period. You get what I give you and smile because you don't have to pay a dime for it.
P.S. ATT is watching you...

Being in the industry, I'm not sure I'd have picked IT again given where it looks like things are headed. IT funding in a company is usually the first thing cut.
That being said, I'm a database nerd and make a living doing db stuff, if you choose to focus on db stuff let me know if I can help.
