Everyone knows whats what over there. You go there knowing they take enforcing their rules seriously and are perfectly willing to sensor anything that offends them. They will only put up with limited shenanigans. Of course it pisses those used to this forum off but we all know that about mnet.

I'm really happy that mnet exists. There is some really good information there when you need it and bonus feighgottry to laugh about. If you really want to get under their skin you have to be more creative and willing to fight for it like Hustler with the Black Jesus handle. Just blasting them gets you banned and you no longer get to be a pebble in Gary's penny loafer.

Maybe the thread closure (err...deletion) had more to do with not feeding the trolls than the minor warning that came from a sig line that directly incites animosity between two forums, which we try to avoid, even here.

Why's it always us v. them?

Both forums occupy and fulfill distinctly different roles in the Miata world. I'd hate to see an online community without either, or hell, without cr.net.

Without m.net, we would have the vast resource of everything you can imagine on our cars, or all the reviews opinions you could want.

Without cr.net all the ricers would flood this place and m.net.

Without us, well, I don't know. Do we have a purpose?

 

m.net is fantastic if you just assume you are only allowed to use the "search" button and never click on any individual subforums or click "new posts". It's perfect for answering all my stupid questions that I'm too embarrassed to ask here.
