True. I know someone in that scoring range as well. Went to GW and is now a USAF JAG.

Heh. Actually, we're too busy trying to decide whether or not to evacuate at the moment. On Monday I committed the defining act of a true geek- the only things I packed into my car were a few changes of clothes, a toothbrush, a cooler full of beer, and my backup hard drive.

TonyC- one of my considerations are that since this means I'll be living purely off of my savings for quite some time, finding a location where the cost of living is cheap is of paramount importance. I can't keep paying $1,700 a month in rent while not realizing any income. This eliminates most of California.

Joe,
totally hear you. http://la.craigslist.org is your friend. apartments in South Central can be had for $800/months. And contrary to common belief, it's actually a half decent neighborhood. can't say the same about Westwood's pricing tho...

Congrats.

Don't apply to UT, the state of TX is taxing Californians for moving into TX and running up real estate prices. Anyone born in California or from California will pay a %50 income tax.

Seriously though, UT has a great Law school from what I've heard. I plan to pursue that path after I finish my Bachelor's.
