Hey guys, hows it going? So long story short, I bougt a PS3 off a guy on craigslist ($210, said everything was fine, etc). Seemed nice, and from the outside the PS3 looked fine. So I get home, I turn it on, and it works for a minute then freezes. I thought that was odd, so I restart to no avail. Seems that it overheats if it runs for more than a minute, lol. Not to mention that one of the controllers is broken.

So I call the guy up, give him a chance to make it right. I ask to meet up the next night (Before he sold it, he said he was free every night), but now he is busy, a lot. So I try calling him the next day, and oh noes, he blocked my number. Well, that confirms it for me, I have been had.

So, I was hoping you guys may beable to help. Here is what I know:

Name: Alec (almost positive it was alec, not alex)

Number: 724-809-3685 (seems to be verizon)

He goes to school at Washington and Jefferson college (I am almost positiive he lives at home in canonsburg, PA with his parents and commutes).

He drives a current gen honda civic (Looked black, but it was dark out).

He is about 5'6"-5'9" tall, white, scrawny, between 18-20 years old I would guess.

Can't think of anything else. I really just need an address, then I can go have a word with him.

Also, don't call him, atleast not yet. I would like to surprize him.

BTW: Never "meet" somebody anyplace other than their house if you're the buyer for something like that. I'd have wanted to see it plugged in and running. If you can't see it work, pass.

 

You had it coming, I would never buy electronics from some d00d of CL. Except one time, I bought a cell phone off cl for $15, worked like a champ, and came with some nudiez and hilarious text messages too.

seems he was in the 160 weight class, that fits the bill size wise.

 

Shalar is close to pittsburg, but about 40 miles from Canonsburg, PA which I'm assuming would be where he would go to H.S. if his parents did indeed live there... its a long shot - and for some reason finding a photo of the kid is damn near impossible.
