Well if by owning a miata means having it registered in your name then our fearless leader, Braineack does not own one. I know for a fact it is under his dads name.

Yes, it was under my dad's name until today when I decided I wanted to get veteran plates.

**** does anyone know how tough dc safety and emissions inspection is? or for that matter, va? or pa? de? i want to register my **** out of state because i have dick coming out of the obd2 port now and the maryland emissions inspection consists of an obd2 scan...

and sorry, my shift key took a vacation

VA inspections really matter on where you go to have it done. I've had people pass me with failing brakes and a variety of issues and I've had people fail me for ******* stupid ****. One guy failed my IS300 for "being too low" when I only had a half slam on it. As for inspections - OBD2 will be scanned if you have the port.
