No, it's not carried on cable or satellite in the US (at least not in its entirety- one of the upper channels I think runs cut-up episodes a year or two behind. They suck.)

To get the real deal, you gotta use bittorrent. It's the current-generation peer to peer filesharing system. My favorite client is µTorrent: http://www.utorrent.com/

Once you've got the software, you need the torrents. A torrent file is a small (just a couple k) file that serves as a pointer to trackers and other clients, where the actual data is. It's complicated, but all you really need to know is where to find the torrents. That would be here: http://www.finalgear.com/shows/topgear/

The quality of these is pretty damn good. I'd go so far as to call the latter episodes nearly DVD quality. I have an XBox360 that I use as a playback client to view them on the big TV.

That looks a bit like a shrunken Porsche 962...

The atom isn't a practical car, but it is crazy looking and sounds like a hoot to drive. I wouldn't argue the miata as the most practical car in the world either with all that interior room and trunk space for people and stuff.

The snow bound maserati is pretty bad ***, I can appreciate someone willing to drive a car like that regardless of the weather, damage, etc - or is he just so rich he needn't care?

I still disagree with this (still meaning I said this in the last thread I remember that was about Top Gear). Monterey marks the second place I've lived (first was Augusta) that carries full episodes of Top Gear and airs them on time (and I've seen both dl'd episodes and BBC-A episodes and they're the same). All you have to do is get a cable/satellite package that includes BBC-A and you're set.

All the BBC-A episodes I've seen have been a season or two behind- though I haven't checked in a bit. Wonder if it depends on the area.

Nitroracer- The guy with the Maser is a hero to hoons everywhere.

BBCA on DTV is all the same, region will not matter.

They were playing current episodes until they took a summer break. Now it's reruns just like american tv. New episodes coming soon.

Caparo T1 > Everything.

I have ridden in a 300hp atom, fun car. I wouldn't personally buy one.

Not gonna lie, it ******* hauls ***.

people do daily a motorcycle over the summer, I see no reason an atom is that much less spacious than our miatas (cept for the top). Maybe its just a personal thing, but the wind and rain and dust would be sweet, id DD an atom.

Hell im hopeing i get to drive the FSAE car in the rain this year =)

Your FSAE car with restrictor removed would probably decimate an atom on an auto-x course. Turbo the bitch and the atom would be left behind almost anywhere. Assuming you have downforce on the FSAE.

But, they're loud & cramped. You constantly get a shower of dust and crap thrown up by any other cars around. You litterally have to rinse the dust out of your mouth after a drive. There are no basics like heat or even decent ventilation (the footwells get really hot), and if it's raining you get soaked. They suck to get in or out of, and if you have a passenger, you don't have room for much else, unless you want to strap it on like the Beverly Hillbillys.

They have to be garaged, or all that suspension hanging out for all to see gets rusty, not to mention the seats getting wet. As a toy, they're great. but as a practical vehicle, not so much.

And to add to the senselessness OT of this OT thread:
I agree completely that Turbo Miata powered locost does all that and you have to wear a helmet with it to hide the stupid grin somehow.

For daily driving this is much more practical (and has no lag )

And this is what it does.

Otherwise I am pretty reasonable and levelheaded guy.

I've seen a few of those v8 bikes around. They do make an Atom look practical. The v8 bikes have plenty of lag though. All that wheel spin trying to put 700hp to the ground.
