These machines are bullet proof.

No serial port, but if you need a machine that can do anything for cheap, this would fit the bill.

Thinkpads are awesome, such great build quality. I love my x40.

Only real concern I'd have about that T43 is whether they include a new battery with the refurb.

Knowing IBM's reputation I would not doubt its a new batt.
