If FEMA had the bicycles, would it fund Hustler's manlet bib?

Flo Cycling Blog: Aerodynamics
I was all set to buy 1305g Soul S2.0s until I saw that. I ended up with ~1624g Flo30s instead and I'm fine with that - still better than the ~1775g RS10s I'm on now. I can't remember what you do with your bike, though.
3700g, lol

I forget whether Trey ever posted this link in the thread:

My cheap cyclcross carbon tubulars.
1185g (pair), cost about $450 to build from ebay parts and spokes from wheelbuilder.com
Unfortunately, safe carbon clincher tech hasn't quite reached ebay yet. My tubulars have old school slippery brake tracks and require pricey swissstop pads in the rain or mud.
Edit.

how many spokes do I need (or should I have) on a 30mm deep aluminum rim?
Specifically:
Kinlin XR-300 Clincher Rim - 30mm - 465 grams
I peak in the beginning of the season at 180-185 lbs from lazy Canadian winters and ride mostly casual road. In all honesty adding another 4 or 8 spokes will only add 20-40g per wheel so its not a huge difference.
In my readings (strictly online- so idk what to think) were mostly carbon reccomendations but said someone my size with a nice stiff rim could do 20-24. I assume that a 30mm deep aluminum would have enough strength to keep me from having nipple pullouts or spoke explosions.
Thoughts?

Nah, Marcel Kittel is way more German. He had some injury last year in the TdF and the press asked him if he was going to continue racing and his comment was, "Of course I will race, I am German." I'm fully aware that Jensie said the same thing at some point, did it as well, but he's hardly a robot like Kittel.
Mancebo is also a favorite of mine for the "musette bag incident", lol.
