Sounds good to me. Strike out on our own for dinner afterward as cycling bros? Who all is in for this?

A friend/acquaintance just won the women's points race. Track nationals are amazing to watch. I was hoping to go this year but never got my act together on the track.

She 'stole' it on the last lap. This is my first, live track event and I'm loving it. I'm a spectator, in case that wasn't apparent.

Are any of you closet homosexuals going to the CX nationals in Austin next January? I will and plan to train my liver up to that point.

Joined the ortho club yesterday. Took a hard hit at 20 mph and my right shoulder took it all. Shattered my collarbone... Then I rode another half mile out of there, but today it hurts to freaking move.

Welcome to the club. I did the same number in '98, still hurts from time to time. Protip: make sure that the doc sets the bone such that it actually heals straight, rather than at an angle. Mine comes to a point right about where the seatbelt crosses it when I'm sitting in the pax seat.

I'm just now starting to regain some function in my right hand after the June wreck. Got me to thinking about how, on an injuries-per-mile basis, motorcycling seems to be far safer, for me at least, than bicycling.

Considering that its pouring rain and road season is coming to a close, any recommendations on fenders for my CAADx?

Still hurts? That sucks. Mine hasn't been set yet, er doesn't do much but xrays and pain pills. Makes me nervous.
