One of the harder trails in the area... it ends at about 10,500 ft elevation and the 200 does not like it. haha

thanks man... yeah- trying to keep up with him is pushing my limit for sure- he just got a new TX300... I'm jealous. haha
|
Funny, my main riding buddy just bought a TX300. So I bought his very well modified 09 200XC-W for $1500. Yay 200 club!!!!!!!
Came with- 3 pipes, a spare cylinder, brake pads, lock on grips, tubliss, suspension rebuild kits, swing arm bearing kits, a recluse, extra gripper seat, oil, 3 air filters, suspension setup(valved) for us and our terrain, and a box of shit I dont quite recall what was in there. I stole it. Hes also a good friend lol. |
Sounds awesome. The 200 is a really fun bike, just a little bit of a struggle on tech at high altitude.
I need a pipe bad. Learning is hard on the pipe!!! |

for sure... all my buddies hate on the 4-stroke for trail use, but fuel injected Japanese bikes are plentiful and cheap and no premix etc. I'd probably go that route if I get another bike.

Lulz.
Says the guy who cut his teeth on the desert couch, DRZ-400. Did you ever end up selling that thing btw? If you ever decide you'd sell it for less than $2k lmk. Lol |
I decided im going to start dual sporting again, keeping it for now. But you know where to find me and its yours to borrow whenever you like.

ryan- does your 250f overheat a lot? or do you just haul ass so much your bike never gets hot?
seems like all the 4-strokes out here are constantly overheating (thin dry air with slow climbs). |

Here in AZ on our goat trails we can boil over anything it seems. The only exception was my kdx200 swapped hybrid using 250 rads, that thing never got hot, even in the nasty shit.

I'm actually getting that as a tattoo in a few weeks lol, already have the shirt https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...inter-time.jpg |
