Cool story bro. I wonder how many dozens of these rumors will come and go before we either stop believing or honda ACTUALLY makes a non-boring car.

Isn't this the MO of all car companies now? Tease a "We're gonna build (cool car they used to make)" with little to no intention of actually making it? I think these things are purely marketing to generate buzz about the company, trying to hold onto the market of car enthusiasts in a world of rapidly decreasing enthusiast cars.

I've gotten to the point where I don't even pay attention until there is confirmation of it going into production.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool, I just don't see it actually happening.

 

Just non-boring engines. Annoying.

"Hey, we have this great cylinder head and a whole family of engines of varying displacement that can swap out a lot of parts to make interesting combos. Lets make sure it rotates the wrong fricken way so nobody can use existing transmissions with them in swap projects!"

"Lets make a 2.4L that can easily make low 200s WHP NA, makes consistent TQ between 4 and 8 thousand RPM, has low weight, and makes 400-500 with low boost. Then lets put it in mini-utes and FWD 4 doors!"

 

they'll bring back the prelude to compete with the mustang, c250 coupe, genesis coupe, brz, frs, etc. before they bring back the s2k.
