So last weekend I took the wifey to our favorite restaurant. I noticed the chef came out and was talking to the people next to us. I found it curious, then she went to another table. I was thinking she looked crazy familiar, I swear she's the crazy black chick from Hell's Kitchen. I kept saying that over and over and my wife thought I was dumb.
So my wife calls me this morning and was said Elliot in the Morning was actually talking about a chef from that local restaurant chain being on the show. So just now I looked it up and low and behold...

Lol, I met so many celebs when the super bowl came to Jax a few years back. My sister and I worked at Maxim's shindig, which happened to be at the Garden Club of Jax, and my mother is on the board. Wee-man is a lot bigger looking in person than he is on TV, dude's jacked.

Funny you should say that. I shut my cable off almost a year now (times were tough), and I have not watched a minute of tv at my house since. It is amazing how much I have gotten done. I want to go 12 months before I turn it back on. I do spend an awful lot of time on miataturbo though.

My wife watches her telenovelas (spanish channels) and some of the cooking shows...but I hadn't seen Hell's Kitchen. At the least those shows give her ideas for when she's where she should be.
I sometimes caught about 3-5min at a time of Jon & Kate with her when that show was big. I hope that's all the reality TV I ever get in my life.
I think many of us would be amazed when we realize how much time our TVs take away from us. More so that this is time we are not working or studying, and should be spending being productive around the house or passing time with our families.
Some folks are just as productive while still allotting time for their shows...I applaud them, but I'm not one of them. I simply don't have enough time or discipline...and TV is too damn addictive and easy. I was better off just cutting it out.
"B-list" and "celebrity" are used pretty loosely here.
Sorta like the time I got Melrose Larry Green's autograph in my Howard Stern "Private Parts" book. (FWIW, It is also signed by Howard. I probably decreased it's value with the other autograph).
Huh? Who?

We went to the USGP at Indy twice. Wife and I dined at 14 West (a great downtown place if you're in Indy), Peter Windsor from Speed, and Bobby and Graham Rahal were at the table next to us. A good celeb sighting for race fans.
