Not reading through the whole lot but theoretically it should improve things. Mazda use Helmholtz on the intakes but to be honest I don't think it would get you more than 1-2 bhp on a mx5. That price tag is a no no though
I think the trick is to make the chamber the right size ???

Looks more like a water-hammer reducer for home plumbing systems.
