One of the biggest problems I personally have is that it's tough to get enough rubber under the car to deal with much more than that in the twisties. Hitting a few cones is one thing, but plunging to my death over the side of a cliff would be a serious inconvenience.
I've got similar power in my NX2000, which is within a few hundred pounds of the Miata, so I don't forsee a problem there, plus I'm so looking forward to RWD. If the Disco Potato gets me in the low 200 range at low boost that's fine with me. And I've got an AVCR that I could throw in the mix which'll allow me to run gear based boost, unless I just use the MS to run it. And there are no cliffs to plunge off on Long Island, so I should be good to go.

Typical, huh? All the aftermarket springs available for the SE-R & NX2000 were low rate junk, until I worked with Hyperco to custom make a set of 300f / 200r conventional springs for us. I ran a some group buys on them through the SR20 Forum and sold a few hundred sets to very happy customers.

Thanks for the recommendation. On one hand it's nice to have so many suspension choices now, on the other hand, it can be confusing. My gut reaction is that since it's going to be a dual purpose car, I'll probably wind up with something along the lines of Koni's & GC's.
