True, but we've got something like ten thousand registered users here. Stands to reason that at least one of them is Gary.
That aside, I'm genuinely starting to worry about the monster that we've created. He's actually starting to do math and research industrial epoxies. This is either going to turn the world of internal combustion on its head, or it will end in tears. |
I'm hoping for tears. someone suggest drill and tap!

Holy shit.

Oh fucking hell, Joe, I thought you were serious. I'm dying over here.
|
This is hilarious, now I know why my miata seats keep eating quarters. It's compression hungry. Nice work on the pdf. lol

...wow...
This.Is.Just.Amazing. |
This is better than the busted chick on the Integra!!

I am simply amazed that there are people in this world that dumb

Let me get this straight, is that guy actually JB-welding coins to his pistons:bowrofl::bowrofl:
Joe, the article seems legit. I might introduce it to our local 'experts' here and I'm curious what they have to say about this:giggle: |

First two pistons are curing right now!:bowrofl:

he linked the PDF to prove it will work!!!!
Building a high compression piston - B15sentra.net - Nissan Sentra Forum Yes but I can't find any exact info on what epoxy they used... when I figure that out i'm doing it http://www.alvinproducts.com/Product...d=2#Durability I'm doing it... muahaha I'll document everything as I go along and let everyone know how long it takes to blow the motor... if it does blow... also to put on a 2.5cc piece of aluminum which will increase the compression from 9.4:1 to 10:1 will need a 21lbs adhesion strength to handle the 1450g's the piston sees during the change in direction at 7,000rpm... JB weld has a 3,963 lbs strength +/- a couple pounds |
I cannot believe it. oh man, im just....wow....he's actually..holy crap i...woah
|
I've got to keep tabs on this.... :bowrofl:
