I have hopes to see The Used this year. I could get crazy in those pits.

I wish I had seen Zepplin in their prime. I almost went to the show in Tampa? that turned into a riot. I was in High School at the time. In the late 70s you could see huge bands for 8 bucks. Last month I wanted to go see AC/DC 90$ a ticket WTF?

I saw that tour in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Massive sound system, huge crowd, good show. Hot as Hell; Despite three firehoses that were spraying down the crowd in front of the stage all day, passed out people were being pulled over the stage barricade by security and carried off to the first aid station.

Would love to see radiohead live, but their tickets are an arm and a dick and Thom Yorke is kind of a self masturbatory eco green pretentious ------.

Because I wanted to and it's true? When the best musician in your band was banging on the drums, it tends to discredit the rest of the band.

When I listen to Nirvana, I want to borrow Kurt's shotgun.

STP and Soundgarden were worlds better 'grunge' bands. Weiland's a better showman when he isn't all heroined out (which is rare) and Cornell has worlds better pipes/range etc.

And yes I've heard all of Bleach and In Utero and tried hard to like it but couldn't.

YouTube - nirvana - negative creep 08/30-92

That is ******' horrible. I'd rather listen to all 20 minutes of Freebird.....twice.

Exactly! It is hard to believe that video is only 2:51 long because it seems like an eternity. Those guys in their prime are a worse act on stage then these guys 30 years out of their prime. That doesn't say a lot for the "GREATEST band in rock and roll history - Kurt is my God" theory.

I did come up with another band that I would have liked to see live. The Gin Blossoms played the little fair we have in town a few months ago. My wife had a meeting that night and I did want to go by myself. I'll be kicking myself in the *** for a long time over that. They rarely play live and when they do it is always on the west coast so it was probably a once in a lifetime chance to see them.

However, I just bought tickets to see Cradle Of Filth next month in Orlando

My favorite band of all is RHCP and I have not seen them...hopefully some time soon before it's too late...

That makes you awesomely cool!
...Or at least I hope so, since I have seen them too...

Oh yeah, one more for the list. Gentle Giant. Amazing, complex, virtuoso prog rock. I listened to them even at a young age due to my older musician brother who thought they were great (they are/were). I wanted to go to the show but was 'too young'. Him and his musician buddies were talking on and on afterwards about how great the show was. All I got was a t-shirt, damn it.

If we start talking about bands we have seen.. The list of bands I've seen is a lot longer than the list of bands I wish I'd seen...
