Default Jihad on Cowon MP3 Player Company

I bought another Cowon D2+ MP3 player on 12/30/09 and received it on 1/8/10 purchased from Cowon through eBay, and Paypal. Its not working properly. I don't want to deal with customer service, RMA repair garbage, and I don't want to deal with a 45-day turn-around time on a brand-new MP3 player purchase.

Is it reasonable to demand a new, properly functioning MP3 player from the company rather than deal with RMA horse-****? I feel that I'm entitled to a properly functioning "new" unit, not one which immediately requires repair.

Buy another, return the bad one for refund?

Or buy it from Amazon and rip them off by returning the bad one to them and letting them deal with Cowon?

That's shady if not outright stealing but I doubt you're above that.

Ditto on that but do it to best buy not amazon. Amazon is a good company.

I was not above impregnating your girlfriend either. Maybe if you went to the gym for the first time in your life I wouldn't have to break her off so frequently.

Actually, I'll just kill it from the credit card and send them hate mail.

Cowon made really good MP3 players...past tense apparently.

I need much more storage space, no drm, no gay .aac format, and loudness so I don't use my iphone for music.

Ching Chong Chowon. Sounds like something I would buy at the dollar store. Get a decent brand with like a mini sd slot. Then get a good set of headphones.

They have a return policy right? Return the broken unit and buy another one?

Dear Customer,

Please submit an RMA request to send your player in for a replacement. Our service dept. will need to test your unit and determine that it is defective before issuing you a replacement unit.
