some pos ************ stole an amp from us yesterday, and since i was the one to who handed it over the counter they're trying to make me pay for it. he was standing in line for the cashier and then walked out the door, hopped in a car and drove off. We've been real slow at work and if i fight it they may **** with me and lay me off.

all anyone has is a name mark cuik, probably a fake. seen in a silver benz with tinted windows and NY tags. we only have the first 6 digits of the phone he used to call us.

Sucks. fight it - and if that dosnt work get a unfair dismissal laywer. Sounds like they are a bunch of **** to work for anyway if they treat staff like that.

 

not really, i love my job and the people i work with actually. problem is we've been sold and my boss who's made a lot of enemies is worried about his job and now i'm getting screwed. the situation is real messed up

 

they can fire you, but can not make you pay for it.

even if you do get a lawyer its just gonna cause more stress then necesary, its not even worth it, if they are gonna fire you they are gonna fire you they wont **** around.

 

This is very true, also you don't need a lawyer, one phone call to the state labor board will straighten things out....

But it may also make you their favorite employee...

 

Steal another amp from another store and hand it back to them.
