I adopted her after her owner became a ward of the state. She is pretty fat, but we are working on that.

Thanks. Technically she is a Golden Shaded Brown Tabby Exotic Shorthair. We have CFA papers for her someplace but we never sent them in. She's a cutie for sure, especially at night when her pupils are wide open. She has a rather independent personality. We try so hard for her to be affectionate with us and we bribe her with lots of treats and play time but it's always on her terms. However, she does love both my wife and I equally, which is funny. Often times when we are in different rooms of the house the cat will be located somewhere exactly equidistant between us. And she is always happy when we return home. That is one of the few times she ever vocalizes.

She needs to watch my cat from hell so she can learn how to give that little guy a healthy outlet for his energy. I'm guessing she doesn't spend much time playing with him.

What does she expect dressing like that? She's just asking for it.

ha.

but no seriously, shes doing it on purpose, the way she's holding her hand and engaging the cat is why the cat is reacting that way; it thinks they are playing and it's used to attacking her hand.

I can get the exact same reaction out of all 3 of my cats.

So my mom isn't doing so well.

She dropped off of her cats to me (really not a good sign).

Anyway, i grew up with the cat, it's in the middle of it's life now, eyesight is not so good.
Poor kittys alone in a big new house won't come out from under beds and couches.

Here's the one, came out for a little lovin. It's a munchkin.

They smelled me and seem to remember me as they aren't afraid at all of me. But more so of being in a new place.

These cats control my life and it's only been 3 days.

I love them to death but they're so much work. Living with cat hair everywhere is such a pain.
They're starting to come around. The small one follows me around when i'm getting ready for bed then jumps into the bed with me.

At least they are the most chilled relaxed lazy cats ever.
