I dont think it will start back up, IIRC they will run it on the TV for the rest of the race. WTF do they have to compete, ******* 'Dangerous Drives'? That lamearsed NASCAR talent show? **** that.
But it sucks that Kap' cant watch in Europe, despite the fact that he is about 5 thousand miles closer than I am. Speed is getting its footage from the 'World Feed' which sounds like a Unicef wannabeee but is actually some sort of Interpol like media coverage thing. Surely they are airing it all over the continent somehow?

This is a good start to the weekend for me. I'm at VIR running the Grand East config, with MazdaDrivers for whom I help staff. So I get free track time when I'm not working.
Went out to dinner at a decent Mexican joint, where we watched Speed channel. Then went to a sports bar, where we talked about all kinds of car **** that gets talked about at track events, while drinking quite a bit and also watching Le Mans. I won't get to watch it all because I have to sleep for tomorrow, but around 2 am eastern time is typically when things get interesting as more cars start to break in interesting ways.
The speed these ******* carry through the corners is unreal. I might not give my left nut to ride in one, but my left pinky toe could possibly be negotiated. And flying down Mulsanne Straight at night looks like quite a trip. Y'all know that straight used to be much longer and faster, but they added the chicanes about 20 years ago because the turbo cars, which didn't have the power limitations they have now, were pushing them to speeds at which the downforce they ran tended to cause sudden and catastrophic tire failures.
That reminds me, I need to get Le Mans on netflix.

Well we are out of the running in gt2 completely, no American cars left. Saleen is still holding it down in GT1 but as there are only 3 cars left, and two of them are yanks, that isn't saying much.
Better news is that Audi has kept pace while it has ALL gone wrong for the french. Peugeot was 1st thru 4th in the beginning, and now is only holding on by a thread to
third and 5th. So very good news there, anything is better that the bloody frogs winning again. Next year word is Porsche is going to be back in LMP1.........
The really shitty news is that the Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club is out. We always knew they would be really, but around 2-3 in the morning I was really pulling for them to make it after the gearbox change.
Next year how about the "American Turbo Miata Owners Club"?
Who's in?

Audi has this in the bag.
I think I signed up for a 1.5 hr lemans enduro race on Forza3 for tonight haha.
I want to make it to one of these races at least once in my lifetime.
Edit: I'd love to see a TDI R8

What a great race. Leader changes galore. I bet half the field dropped out due to failures. Lots of bananannas in the tailpipes last night. I'm kinda bummed that so many cars didn't make it but that's racing at Cirque de Sarthe.
Canadian GP starts at 11 central on local Fox too.
