Default lets say you had 2 miatas, a spare motor and trans and turbo stuff...

I have a pretty nice 1991 with good paint and interior, its pretty much tip-top. I just picked up a 1995 which is about 5 different colors, the interior is kind of tired. Both cars have a good rear end, both frames are straight, and both run well, but one is really ugly. I bought the ugly one to daily, temporarily, until I can afford an ls600h.

I'm thinking about taking the ugly 1995 and making it the track bitch with the big motor, painting it an annoying color, and generally not giving a **** about it, the way you should feel about a track car. I'd have to buy another mspnp and a roll bar.

any thoughts?

i think you should be banned for a week with the condition that you are allowed to return when you've done something.

If I weren't on the west coast for work, I'd be in Dallas with one of those cars disassembled.

since Katrina hit in '05, I've been at my apartment for roughly 5-months on and off. I might have a desk job lined up when i get back home after this trip though.

I mean ****, since Jan1, 2008 I've done 2-2 week trips to Louisiana, 2 weeks in SanFrancisco, 1 week in DC, 1 week in Miami, 2 weeks in Little rock, and now 2 weeks in Seattle. Before that I did 9-months in New Orleans, 6-months in Santa Fe, 9 months in Oklahoma City, and so many little trips in between that I can't count. I'm tired.

This is what happens when you're a power-player, and get **** done. Take notes, bitches.

However, now I'm off to go chase ***** in downtown seattle.

It would be a shame to not boost the green one. But it would also be nice to have a track car with a body you don't care about.

Personally id put the nice motor in the nice car, but I don't go to the track nearly as much as you do.

If you spent as much time working on your car as you do excuses you'd be doing smokey burn outs instead of smoking pole.

Actually being a member for 2 years, putting up 4500+ posts and still not having a pressurized car pretty much means you AREN'T a power player and you AREN'T getting stuff done. (where's that beating a dead horse icon anyway?)

Send the Hood ride to someone with all the stuff you've aquired and get that thing stripped out and built. You could be tracking it in a month and make the pretenders in the big bucks cars wonder why they just got thrashed by a beat on chick car!

Question - you want the hybrid why?

Because I'm out of cash and have to do the labor myself. I wouldn't buy the hybrid, its too much cash. However, its pretty baller. I'd like to get the diesel accord coming out, but we'll see what happens.

I would put the expensive motor in the car you are actually going to keep. Otherwise you will sell a good car. Then keep one you don't like. But if you are going to keep both. It would be an easy swap for the 95. And your daily driver would have great gas mileage, and be totally dependable.
And you would have a spare 1.8 that you could give me. Lol. Lol.

It is kinda funny that I have a spare 1.6 motor and tranny, and two miatas as well. Lol

Which reminds me. I need to sign off and get my MS tuned. It is so hot though.
Mabe I'll lose my keg'o love belly.

What would it take to be able to use your mspnp9093 on the 95 model? You were going to put a 1.8 in a 1.6 car. Can you just use a 1.6 wiring harness on the 95. Or would it just be problems?

I would just pick a direction and stick with it. I have spent $$$ on bandaids and then switched to ms. Now I have a bipes, FMU, and a MSD boost retard. And two sets of 550cc injectors. I traded for the injectors though. But anyway, I have a good start to DIY turbo the other miata.

Out of cash? What the heck are you spending it on if you're on the road all the time? Hookers and special K?

I have a really old house dog. It does nothing but sleep and walk slow.
I just asked my girl if I could rename it to Turbo dog..LOl. She said that dog isn't turbo.
I said it is like my turbo. All it does is set in the garage floor. hahahhaha

Try 9000 miles away, and I am home less then 35 days a year. I plan ahead; I have all the parts I plan to install waiting when I get there. And yes, some jobs I farm out. My free time is worth more to me, then most shops hourly rate. YMMV
