Default m.net is up and down more than Tom's yo-yo

A tree fell on their Gateway or something?

be nice, no hardcore bashing. just tell people to go to www.miataforumz.com where the servers are in nuclear bomb proof bunkers (this may or may not be actually true)

I would think a site as big as m.net could afford a reliable hosting service. As big a storm as it may have been, the rest of the internet is not down.

Miata.net lol, I only go on there now to talk people out of HP+/Falken Azenis combo's in the track section and to watch Emilio get blasted in the NA power section like he is a liar.

I only go there to ask the questions I'm too embarrassed to ask here.

It would make sense for a small site with very low traffic - a simple DSL or Cable with a static IP would do the job nicely (I've done this in the past multiple times). For a site like m.net however...

M.net's setup is a little larger than your roommate's FTP server, though. It's multiple servers, multiple data lines, and an automatic no-interrupt generator for power failures.

Just about the only thing that can knock the site out is if something really big happened, like a tree falling on all of the data lines. :P

Totally Emilio's fault that the miata lacks power in the N/A form. We could also listen to sjmarcy argue about "throttle response" and how turbo cars could possibly maaayybe suck at it and that is why N/A is superior. Apparently wheel spin in 2nd gear is the turbo's fault, not the driver who hammered the throttle.
