I plan to get a PnP for my 94 and install it stock on my car. Can any of you come by, or i'll drive to you and explain what the hell everything is and show me how to tune and what not? Thanks.

The MS PnP as sold here: http://miataroadster.com/mspnp.html will not work on your '94. It's only for the '90-93 1.6litre engine. I'm pretty sure the 1.8unit is in the works, but no dates or info on that yet. You're gonna have to build it yourself if you want one.

Well, that's awesome. I just read the thread. I guess I better get on the bandwagon before there's no market for my Bipes/AFPR.

I believe a couple of us Nova people might be doing a dyno day sometime within the next month. If you get it by then you can come down and we can teach you most things.

What?

Read the megamanual. http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mtabcon.htm

When you finish that, come back for more questions.

It's extremely informative.

You need to start going through the megamanual and megatune now then. Get a miata MSQ and look at the difference between naturally aspirated fuel and spark maps versus turbo ones. They will give you a better understanding of how the tables are retarded and how the fuel increases with boost. Then you can go through the other settings to atleast know where they are and reading the manual will inform you as to what all that alien language means.

HUH? I can personally names 5 people in the NOVA area that are running or working on getting megasquirt running currently. I am the only one with a 1.8, but the diffrences between the 2 engines are not bad. I am confused as to what exactly you need help with. If it is gengeral setup the instruction s that come with it will get you through that. If it is tuning I would suggest coming and dyno tuning with us. Also willnyou car be stock or do you plan on having the turbo in by then?

Chill out tom i told you MS is simple read throught the megamanual even downlaod the software and look it over abit play with it etc. Also do you have a laptop to tune MS off of? Do you have a WB02? these are important questions you might have glossed over. GL man

totally learn the MS tuning procedure while your car is N/A. it's so much harder to break stuff when you're pre-turbo.
