even though not relative to your post, but i ran into miata today myself
i know for a fact its no one from this forum, they wouldn't last 3 minutes without getting banned
it was the ugliest miata i have ever seen, good thing i wasn't in mine otherwise i would have been embarasses
it was a mostly red NA with a white body kit, the one that comes forward like two feet, it had lime green fenders, a park bench spoiler, it was really really low, like riding on bumpstops low (it bounced like hell) and to top it off, the rear finsh panel was turned into something i cannot describe, all i know is that it had a line of LEDs running across the back and another above it that looked like it was the turn signals because half of it was blinking while he was turning...WTF, it was done with what looked like clay and it was really rough finish...just hideous
does anyone know who im talking about, cause he needs a beating..BAD

 

There's like 5 Miatas in my school's town, all of them driven by old men, except for some other kid at my school with 17's on his stock red NA. Around 95% of the students here drive giant hick trucks. The cool hicks have super loud diesels.

There is an old guy in blacksburg with a brand new nc, his plates read "OLDFART". I lewl everytime I see it.

except we have a TON of STis up here...its like...loud diesel...loud diesel....scooby...scoooby...scoooby....straight piped dodge RAM...gas....

 

Some of those STi's are ridiculously loud. Makes me appreciate my miata stealthmobile even more. Plus my top goes down.

But the weapon of choice around here is the Harley Davidson, followed by the Mustang with Flows.

 

I sure do love the sound of the boxed 4 though.
