I want another small car, hoping to pay $10,000ish, and need back seats this time. An $1800 upgrade which includes intake, exhaust, new supercharger pulley, and ECU reflash would put the mini s at around 200hp at the crank which I think I'd be more then happy with.

But yah, any impressions on them? Reliability? I was also looking at 2000 Audi tt's, but I've heard their pretty numb to drive and not terribly reliable.
Word of advice. Get your DD (whatever it will be). But keep that Miata. In a few years, you'll thank me.

There's always this for the OP:

Hahah that was the first car I owned. A 1987 Pontiac Turbo Firefly.

I think I've made up my mind. Next year I'm going to sell the miata and get a 2007/2008 Honda Fit Sport, and then slap on a kraftwerks high boost kit.

What was wrong with that Mustang? Are you absolutely sure it was a real Mach1? You can get after market functional hood scoops for 'Stangs, but a real one is a 12 second car with minor modifications, real low 13's stock. Autos are a different story.

Either way, I'd keep a miata around if I where you OP. Even a cheap fixer upper is better then nothing.

Other than wanting something newer or needing 4 doors why not get an EP3 Civic Si. It already has a K20. you can get a kraftwerks kit, it's just a little more work but it will make a lot more power. Lots more aftermarket stuff available and will almost certainly handle better and be almost as useful.

I'm just not a civic kind of person. I like the fit because of how small it is, but also its efficient use of space. I also like that it's a newer, and that the kraftwerk kit is just a straight bolt on.
